Proudly Protecting Our Community
The Pink Hill Volunteer Fire Department serves a wide and diverse area in southeastern North Carolina, providing fire protection, rescue services, and community support across multiple fire districts. Our dedicated team of volunteers responds with professionalism and pride to ensure the safety of all residents, businesses, and visitors within our coverage area.
Our department is headquartered in the Town of Pink Hill, and our primary response district includes:
Town of Pink Hill
The heart of our service area, including residential neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and public facilities within town limits.
In addition to the town itself, we serve multiple surrounding rural districts, including portions of:
Lenoir County
Covering rural communities and agricultural properties outside Pink Hill's town limits, ensuring full response capabilities across local roadways and homes.
Duplin County
We proudly assist in areas that border Lenoir County, collaborating with neighboring departments for effective regional emergency response.
Jones County (as needed through mutual aid agreements)
Pink Hill VFD is part of a regional mutual aid network, which means we respond beyond our primary area when additional support is required.
We work in close partnership with other local emergency services, including:
Neighboring volunteer fire departments
EMS providers
Law enforcement agencies
County emergency management offices
This collaboration enhances our ability to respond quickly and efficiently to fires, vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
No matter where our calls take us, our mission remains the same: to serve with courage, compassion, and commitment. Every member of our department is trained, equipped, and ready to protect life and property across our entire fire district area.
